Ootd- Painting the town red

Hi there! I suppose I had a pretty boring week last week. On Thursday we had gorgeous weather, so I spent most of that day laying in the sun until the kids finished school. Because I’m trying to prove I’m a ‘cool’ step mum, I took the kids to a nearby park they hadn’t been to before and had a picnic with them! On my birthday I was given a really nice picnic basket and ever since the kids have been dying to go for a picnic. We had some sandwiches and some veggies and the likes and baked in the sun. Sadly, the weather didn’t stay like this for very long. So on my […]

Fifi Lapin

Meet the worlds most fashionable bunny, Fifi Lapin. This British bunny has undoubtedly a better wardrobe than most humans. I came across her blog many years ago, long before I was even interested in blogging. I’ve always loved bunny’s and as you may already know, I own one myself and am looking forward to adopting a little friend to keep Noodle company. She is the “haress” of her fathers fortune (which he made from his shares in carrots and lettuce on the international stock market), as she is, sadly, an only child. Fifi was one of the 257 brothers and sisters, all of whom tragically died of myxamatosis, which is a highly contagious bunny disease. […]

After women, flowers are the most divine creation

Last week we took the youngest to a petting farm. We thought this would make for a lovely day out, but somehow, we failed to think that her fear of animals would probably not make it that fun! She did enjoy the climbing frame and slides and an ice cream though! Because of this I didn’t want to get too dressed up and decided to keep it simple. It was a sunny day with a bit of a breeze, so I wore a floral dress with long short sleeves, which I got a while back in Barcelona. I’m so glad I did because I wear it all the time. I paired the dress with a […]

Ootd and Noodles

Hi there! I’ve been busy today. Besides the obvious change of layout ( hope you like it ;) ) I’ve finally made time to make an outfit post! The thing is, I really don’t like posing for pictures and especially not on my own.  So I try and wait until the house is empty and put a camera on automatic. Today I used the Go pro, I was very pleased with the results from my disney pics I had taken earlier in the month. I’ll do a write up about that at some point. I also enlisted help from my fluffy friend Noodle, so I wouldn’t have to pose on my own. Ok , she […]

My April wishlist, but won’t be buying

Shop shop shop, it’s something I LOVE to do . Nothing beats the feeling of bringing home your new find, thinking of all the ways you could wear this new item.. It’s something I have gotten a bit addicted to, I know I shouldn’t buy it and that I’ll be broke if I keep buying stuff but I just can’t help myself! So I’ve decided that this month, I would not go shopping, at all. This shouldn’t be to hard, after all I did buy myself timberlands, a pair of really cute Jhay shoes, two tshirts, a blouse… This should keep me sweat for a while right? Even while I’m writing this I’m thinking of […]

Moschino AW 15-16 Ready-to-wear

I have to say I was a bit disappointed with Moschino’s new collection. I wasn’t nearly impressed as with the last collection. In this show Jeremy Scott continued his cartoon-pop culture theme with characters such as Bugs bunny and Taz along with quilted puffer jackets, which I have never really been a fan of, at least not these kind of over the top ones. Don’t get me wrong I still love his style, bringing fun and youth into the fashion world, Jeremy is still one to watch. This is his third collection for Moschino and I’m loving what he is doing for the brand. My favorite pieces where the signature Moschino belts and the patch […]

Brit Awards: Paloma Faith wins Best British Female Solo Artist award

Paloma had been nominated twice before in 2011 and 2013 for the title of Best Female solo artist. But 2015 would be the year she took home the prize beating fellow nominees Ella Henderson, Jessie Ware, Lilly Allen and FKA twigs. Her third album, A Perfect Contradiction, released in 2014, is her best record yet. Including her highest- charting single in the UK, Only Love Can Hurt Like This. In Belgium she’s relatively unknown, we do have her hit ‘Can’t Rely On You’ in the charts though. If there’s one thing I really like about her it her style, she’s so quirky! When I was scrolling through the Brit Awards news, she popped out straight […]
